Could Mancini be playing mind games with Man United, saying Man City are out of the title race to put pressure on Man United or is Mancini too fucking stupid to be able to play mind games?

he is playing mind games not with united but with the City team liked the way he said in the interview that they have already broken the points total for a season but we should strive to get more points. so basically saying if we try to get as many points as we can and hopefully united will mess up and we can take advantage

still reckon the derby will be the decider just got a feeling Tevez will have a say in that match as well

I don't really get peoples hatred of Mancini. He seems like a nice bloke who doesn't want to play up to the press. Agree with Hammahspet that his comments were directed at the City players. Too late for city to catch United but adds a bit of spice to the end of the season at the top.

I tell you why he annoys me.

He is an average manager who constantly moans and contradicts himself. He prances about with that fucking stupid scarf on and thinks he is something else. He is a bit of a joker if he can take on any of the old school Premier League managers.

As I said, a day previous to yesterdays results City were still in it. United lose and City win, yet he says City are out of it. Tevez plays up and he says he will never play for the club again. Shit hits the fan and his lack of managerial skills are questioned, he lets Tevez play again.
After a string of rants about Ballotelli and constantly starting him, he then says after the Arsenal game he will sell him and he won't play again. Today he says he will probably feature before the end of the season.

That's just this season!!!

....Oh, and if his little "we're out the title race" was aimed at his players then 10 out of 10 for originality. Pep Gaurdiola used that line already when Barcelona trailed Real Madrid by 10 points.

Well said Money Shot, hit the nail on the head there about Mancini. Plus if I may add, his ego is so inflated just because he won 5 Serie A titles, when there was wasn't even any proper competition. He thinks he's God's gift to the world. He also said about Balotelli after the Sunderland game that he could not trust him, yet he plays almost the whole game the week after against Arsenal. Whats the hell is wrong with Mancini, has he been snorting blocks or something?
