To be fair I'd have put Johnson in over Zamora as he is scoring goals at the moment, mid-week and today and looked lively of late. He is in form, so surely worth a shout. I mean for fucks sake it is Montenegro!! Grow a pair Capello we only need a point!

As for Barry... He hasn't really lived up to the player people were building him up to be, never really rated him much myself. I hope Parker gets the nod ahead of him.

Yeah I expect Barry to warm the bench.

The thing with AJ is that he's found form in this and the mid week game, but other than that, he hasn't really done much since he's been at Fulham, and I think there would have been an uproar if he was in based on 2 games. I just think it highlights where English football is, if Zamora is in your squad and Sturridge isn't!

Andy Carroll in the squad is a joke

From the squad, I would play:

Hart

Richards Jones Terry Cole

Young Parker Lampard Downing

Rooney Bent

Though might replace Downing with Walcott and play Young on the left and Walcott on the right

Well this opinion won't be to popular with Liverpool fans, but I think Carroll has looked pretty pony and is in the team based on his goal at Everton.

To be fair to AJ he has suffered some big injuries, I would like to see him injury free for a while and hopefully he can continue this kind of form because I used to rate him at Palace and Everton. He is a nuisance striker with a great engine and an eye for goal!

Thats what we paid for, and hopefully a mixture of being injury-free and thriving under Jol's attacking mentality will hopefully bag him 15 or so goals in the season at least!

I agree totally with you about Carroll, and I will go one further, and say I reckon he'd have been in it anyway...if Capello wanted Sturridge in the squad, he'd have been in there, but he obviously wanted Carroll! What about Crouch? He seems to have disappeared from England's preparations!

Not a bad shout at all that, I would probably go...

Hart

Richards Jones Terry Cole

Johnson Parker Lampard Young/Downing (depending on how fit Young is)

Rooney Welbeck

I think Crouch was given the boot from last season when he was still at Spurs. He has an incredilble scoring record for England, but he does seem to be penalised for his style of play in international games.

Still can't believe Sturridge isn't in the team.

noticeably nor is Rio... Is this the end for him ?

Pretty similar! I only left Welbeck out as I think he is too green, would give him the last 20 mins to get him used to internationl football at this level.

Shit, I totally overlooked Johnson! From me team, put him in and get Downing out! Fuck Walcott!

Is Rio 100% fit? Maybe Fergie had a word with Capello

RE: Football Banter
I would happily chuck Welbeck in because he has been thrown into the United team this season and done well, I'd expect him to do okay against a Montenegro side and would think it a good time to give him a go.
