Well you're doing better than me Jam, my specs fell apart in spectacular fashion the other day - I've just had to spend £230 for two new pairs. Ouch!

I don't know where you magic pixies came from, but I like your pixie drink!

While you are in the pound shop getting your wipes have a look to see if they have a specatcle repair kit, normally has a couple of spare screws, nose guards and small screwdriver in it.. and all for you guest it ONE POUND!!

The arm fell off, which caused the rubber stringy bit (they're rimless) to ping off, which caused the lens to fly across the room. The annoying thing is that I meant to order some three weeks ago when I last picked up some contacts.

I got 2 pairs from Asda for £90. They're okay but straight lines have a slight curve to them, which makes checking to see if things are level or plumb can be awkward (I'm a joiner,so...)
But really I'm just glad that I can see reasonably well again.
