Security alert

Anyone watching the webshows with the Adobe flash player should update it now.
see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8734465.stm

Go to a webshow and just right click on the player window and choose "About Adobe Flash player".
This will take you to the Adobe site and tell you whether you have the latest version installed.
If not, you can download/install it from there. Windows, linux and Mac.

Have to love how BBC are so thorough with informing everyone about security update

For those a little more up to speed, or paranoid about security I'd suggest you veer away from the headline seeking BBC.

A good starting point would perhaps be Secunia's PSI software. I suggest normal users keep it in simple mode however, at least until familiar with how it works.

Thanks for that Red, I downloaded this earlier. it told me to patch some stuff, and my internet is just about ok again now.
