RE: Liverpool FC
I don't see the point of us going for Charlie Adam if/when the Henderson deal gets done, we're gonna play 4-4-2 so that's Lucas & Jay Spearing fighting for the defensive midfield position & Steven Gerrard & Raul Meireles chopping & changing for the attacking role & now we may even have Jordan Henderson aswell so I think 5 players for two positions is more than enough given we can change our style of central play depending on which two we have on the pitch so to go for Adam would be a bit silly & a waste of money especially given we don't have any natural wingers & I don't wanna hear Charlie Adam could play on the left.... Just don't see it!!!

RE: Liverpool FC
Liverpool have followed the £20m signing of Jordan Henderson with a £5m offer for the Arsenal left-back, Gaël Clichy.

Kenny Dalglish is anxious to address a glaring weakness in his squad ahead of next season and, having considered the merits of both the Newcastle full-back Luis Enrique and Celtic's Emilio Izaguirre, has turned his attention towards Clichy. The French defender has rejected Arsenal's offer of an extension to his contract, which has only 12 months remaining, and his employers are expected to cash in for around £5m-6m this summer rather than lose him on a free next year.

For 5 million would be a ideal signing for us couldn't go wrong for that price really espically when Newcastle want 10 million for Enrique question is would Wenger sell Clichy to a rival Team

RE: Liverpool FC
It could be true as the fixtures are released to clubs today to check if they clash with any local events in the city/town so they can be changed between now & when they're released to the public on Friday morning, if we do get Swansea I don't think it'll be another Blackpool as we won't make that mistake again & will also have a better squad & I don't see them doing what Blackpool did for 10 to 15 games.
As long as we don't get teams like Arsenal & Man City in our first 2 games like last season then I'm don't give a shit.

RE: Liverpool FC
Our new errr 3rd kit, why we need this when we've just got another new away kit, well I say new it's just the 'Old' one but black instead of white. Don't even get me started on the badge!!!annoyedannoyedannoyed

Do Adidas really think we're gonna go out in our thousands to pay £45 for this, I mean come on we'll wear it twice & then it'll be in the history books along with the yellow/gold kit from the mid 90's.

£90 to buy both of these, Adidas are seriously trying to get every last penny out of us to the point of me thinking they now have the big fat Texas rat in their boardroom.
Why would anyone buy these when next season 2012/2013 we're gonna have a new kit maker & therefore new kit both home & away & probably 3rd if not 4th....

RE: Liverpool FC
Calm down lads lol

I appreciate the frustration Mitchell with the stick on badges instead of a nice sewn badge. It's annoying to say the least mate and having a new kit supplier in a years time also puts people off spending money on kits for themselves and everyone in the family.I've heard that all day lol The way i see it is,we've not even started this season yet,so lets forget about 12/13 and enjoy this season.Which i can't wait for!

These are the last kits your gonna have to endure from Adidas mate, who used to bang out some boss away kits but have gone down hill over the past few seasons.

Some quality Adidas away kits

They've wen't down hill since for me, the exceptions being this up and coming seasons kits.

I like both.

RE: Liverpool FC
That first kit was left behind at Anfield by the Blue Shite when they got tossed out for being too tight to pay the rent...The old boys wore it for the sake of it coz they had to pay the rent and had fuck all money left over for a nice red kitTongueTongue haha Wink

It took Mr. Houlding a couple of years to scrape the money together for a red shirt!!!

I presume our sponsors Standard Chartered had no say in the colour either given their official logo looks like this....

If it had looked more like this then i'd be well impressed....
