I think torres has given up on winning any trophies at liverpool, but i think he still loves liverpool otherwise he wouldnt be trying to get the best deal for liverpool and he knows that 50million will help liverpool in the future to buy replacements! so in a way if the deal goes thru we should thank his goals and his effort for the first few seasons even this year hes been below par but still manages to score some goals when he plays eventhough conspiracy is that he has only been playing well this month due to the transfer window . as for replacement i dont think charlie adam is adequate for liverpool, at blackpool hes a big fish in a small pond but at liverpool he wont have much say unless kenny plans on using him like a quarterback just use him for all set pieces. if torres leave we need replacement and i dont think its a good idea to put so much pressure on suarez as a lone striker. kenny needs to get some wingers in before it shuts! or do some last minute deals becuz we need to get 2-3 players before 11pm!

This is exactly why I'm not too botherd that he's gone!!! I was pissed when Alonso left but couldn't care less about Torres to be honest, especially like you say handing in a transfer request at this moment in time. If he stays then great but if not then fuck him... Next!!!

£12m for Adam is about £5m too much & isn't Young's contract up next season??? If so then we should get him for less than £15m as UTD were said to be ready with a £14m bid.

We need to be carefull with this £50m as it could totally overhall our squad if used right & £12m & £22m would take up too much.
I'm thinking Ashley Young £15m, Leighton Baines £12m, Danny Sturridge £8m (Although this should be part of the deal) & maybe £7m Charlie Adam, Also wouldn't mind seeing Andy Carroll come in but not for £25m.

As much as I'd like to see Jose Mourinho come next season it's looking like Kenny's already got the job full time if he's gonna spend some of the money tomorrow (If it does happen this is???)

HE'S trying to get the best deal do you know something I don't How can you give up on trying to win trophies when we are just starting the rebuilding process Again which would've consisted of Luis Suarez & Charlie Adam in January & Ashley Young + in the summer, He's fucking off before it's even started!!!

Just heard we've made a 30 million pound bid for Andy Carroll.

Liverpool have offered £30 million for Andy Carrol and Newcastle have said... No way.

I will turn on my tv 2moro to see what's happened, all the other stuff sky sports news and the papers are saying is complete pish, listen to harry redknapp's interview from a couple hours ago he said he has no knowledge of spurs bidding 39 million for aguero

As for Newcastle rejecting a £30million bid for andy carroll thank fuck... seriously 30mil for somebody who's only been in the prem for half a season, he hasnt even scored that many goals!!

Dont just throw money away please Liverpool, keep Torres, keep the cash, or buy a decent winger.

Carrol was in the Prem before the Toon went down so he ain't just been there for a few months it's just he's got more media talk since helping them back to the premiership last season.
