Fair enough you still compete at the top end of the prem league, but so do Spurs and people call them a much smaller club, even though they have a bigger stadium than you now, most fans think their club is bigger than they think, even my own team fans wear rose tinted specs at times

IMO opinion mate a team is judged by it's fan base with the performances on the pitch and the size of their stadium has NOTHING to do with their HOW SUCCESSFUL They are!! So stop trying to re - live past glories through you rose tinted specs and appreciate the fact that Liverpool have been absolutely superb this season and not let City get their own way with the PL title.

What a load of bollox, trophies are partly won based on a team's ability and their work ethic, not because of how many fucking fans a club has and how passionate they are, if that was the case then Liverpool and Newcastle would be winning trophies every season as they have the best fans apparently

Liverpool have a similar sized fanbase to Sunderland who are still in league 1 because little Luton beat them to automatic promotion,
if Liverpool didn't have super rich owners, they could easily be where Newcastle, Leeds, Sunderland and Villa are

Of course Spurs might not win anything even though they have a flashy new stadium, but you can't ignore the fact their attendances are similar to Liverpool's now, the only difference is Liverpool have more money to spend than they do

Look mate, Luton will be straight back down to league 1 status next season, there enough teams in the championship who will kick their collective asses I never a club is judged by how big it's fan base is, I said a clubs fan base judging their team's performances on the pitch.

You're the one who's talking bollox thinking Luton's base is bigger than Liverpool's, Liverpool fans will say they got a team that is going places which is going to places that only Luton can dream of going. But I'm not a Liverpool supporter but have found myself coming down firmly on their sides for their outstanding performances this season AND BTW, you should take a look at the state of your own fucking stadium before you criticise anyone else's and how much it cost.

At least Liverpool have stayed the course and distance of the season and pushed City all the way and not given up like a great many other PL teams have done against City.

Right here we go, penultimate Premier League game Newcastle Utd v Liverpool at 7.45pm which has never happened before-why not 8pm? Anyway I very much doubt that Benitez will do us any favours and he will want to win above all else. Liverpool still need to score and put Barcelona out of their minds for now. Hopefully be a good game(just listening not watching) and even more hopefully a Liverpool win, but it won't be an easy game that's for sure.

Half time Newcastle 1 - Liverpool 2 not too shabby but we need to keep focused on the game all the time, we know that Rondon is dangerous and Atsou as well. Great start by Van Dijk and great that Salah is on the scoresheet but we cannot be complacent - Newcastle will come at us in the second half(look what happened to Man City they led and then eventually lost their game) so let's hope Liverpool are on the ball(as it were). Second half coming shortly.

Phew! That was a hard listen. Liverpool were really tested there as we thought we would be but a win is a win 3-2 and now over to Man City yet again. With one game left(Wolves) and City having two it is going to be a tense wait.

Love to see Liverpool put the pressure back on City with a big win. i never realised the goal difference for both teams was the same

Oh dear! Worst news Salah and Firmino both doubtful for tomorrow-of all the rotten luck, just when we needed them both. To rely on Origi, Sturridge(not at his lethal best) and others without those two, although we do have Mané still but a loss of that firepower is really going to dent our chances(not that we stand a cat-in-hell's chance) of beating Barcelona, but also doesn't bode well for next Sunday against Wolves, who remember are a very good side. I get that awful sinking feeling in my stomach about now.
