Also, i gave the crowd the benefit of the doubt on opening day, but they were shocking today. Literally it was like being at an opera (although never been to one) but there was no life at all. 12th man a crowd is meant to be, no sign of that today

Been the same for ages at Anfield, crowd half bother to sing YNWA then almost silent the whole game until a corner where a handful of people shout Liverpool 3 times..

If Rodgers doesn't sort his defence out we have no hope of challenging for anything.. and playing Markovic. Lallana, Coutinho together in Midfield was a joke of a decision, what exactly has Lucas done wrong.. he should have played today and against City..

And not starting Stirling was just as bad... You can't win football games in the premier league with a team packed with small lightweight players.. he's had all summer to sort out a top defensive midfielder and hasn't..

If United win tomorrow they are 1 point behind us.. says it all. we had the chance to go second and drop to 7th personally I thought Markovic was terrible and Balotelli, I have no idea what he was doing.

Typical of Liverpool, finishing runners up one season and going backwards the next. It was the same under Houllier and Benitez. Rodgers has done a great job since he took over but he still hasn't sorted out the defence. Maybe he should appoint Tony Pulis to the staff as a defensive coach.
I'd like to think it is just another case of Villa being a bogey team at Anfield but I'm not so sure!
