at the end of the day, the contract doesn't mean he's staying. it DOES however mean we can command a HUGE fee for him should he choose to leave. if we don't finish 4th or above who could blame him for leaving and (more than likely) smashing the club's transfer record. I certainly wouldn't.

Liverpool being linked heavy with Fernando from Porto by A Bola a very reliable paper in Portugal, would be a good player for us for some strong midfield play. He would be a good option to Lucas. I have see him play many times, very good player especially as his contract will be up and will be available for free.

He is a very simple player, you know what you are getting, he do a simple job of breaking up play and winning possession again.

Today's result shows how our strength in depth is lacking.
looks like we've lost Sakho (Hams) & Allen (Not sure how serious) So far not quite a festive set of results for us.
