Seems pretty impressive,but the injury stats are a slight concern,but I'm sure being a young lad and with our medical team those should be sorted.
Hopefully he settles in and sets the Premiership alight definitely got the potential.

I think the ben arfa story is just lazy journalism, didn't he say a few weeks ago his dream was a move to psg? I don't see us needing him, before we could use him properly downing needs to go

Be great if we can send jamie out on a high note, either winning the Europa league or getting top 4. Definitely the greatest defender to never win a league title

Hopefully if we do well or even win europa or make top 4 it will convince him to play on, we need him, he's our best defender still by far.

This is probably the worst news i've heard for a long time and also one of the saddest as Carra has always been a favorite of mine , I feel that his number 23 shirt should never be worn by another player at the club and , hopefully , we manage to get him another goal between now and the end of the season , maybe get him to take a pen at Anfield when we next get one so he get's a proper retirement present .

In a game that has become dominated by petulant, spoilt, overpaid prima-donnas, Carragher has always been a true gentleman, and I'm struggling to think if there has been a better ambassador for the game in recent years.

Best thing about his retirement is that it is on his own terms, he isn't being forced out by injury or suchlike.
The likes of match of the day could do far worse than try to snap him up for commentary, he talks a whole load more sense about the game than the likes of Owen/Shearer, and unlike them, he actually has a personality!

Brendan rodgers said a few months back that Carra has a job for life a t liverpool, can't see him doing media, I hope he becomes perhaps assistant manager or atleast a coach
