I may have been wrong on Sturridge but I still think £12 mil was about £5 mil too much

Wasn't to bothered about Liverpool actually winning today, just wanted to see a decent performance against one of the big teams.
Sturridge completely changed the game aswell, looks like a bargain so far

Different team second half. was v disappointed with sterling today. thought the ref had a decent game. but you can't give Man U a 45 minute head start and expect to win.

I'm not happy....A decent second half but far to sloppy in possession and defensive errors are costing us points far to often.
On the plus side Sturridge & Suarez showed some good chemistry and hopefully that should start baring fruit sooner rather than later,one would hope.
Re Sturridge:People still questioning the value of Sturridge still baffle's me,£12 mil for a 23yo Quality English striker in todays market is good business.
Finally,I've said it before and I'll say it again,we need to start 'Winning Ugly' 3/4 ugly wins is far more important than 7/8 exelent performances with no result.

Agree our performance first half was horrible, absolutely toothless, I'm starting to seriously question Rodgers tactics at times, as soon as I saw the lineup today I knew it was going to be a long afternoon. Why not start off attacking and go for it before we go a goal down? We caused them problems in the last 20 minutes when we decided to play.

In the first half suarez had no service what so ever. Sturridge changed the game when he came on and impressed me a lot when he tracked Welbeck all the way back.

Joe Allen doesn't do anything to warrant a 15 million price tag, he passes the ball backwards to the cb's almost every time, he hasn't the ability to play creative balls, he's far too small, hasn't got the strength, and gives the ball away far too often.

Henderson deserved a start today without question, he's aggressive, can go forwards, tracks back and gives his all and has played really well over the christmas period, he should have been on from the start.

Stirling had a stinker today, i understand he's young and still learning but rodgers should be questioned in my opinion as to why he's playing sterling in such a big game. I'm also concerned how he seems to have stopped taking on defenders, thats what I liked about him, he was willing to take somebody on with his pace, now it looks as though rodgers has told him to stop and pass it back.

Wisdom looked really confident on the right against evra, he is going to be great for the future, hopefully he can learn a little off johnson about going forwards but he looks promising.

Seems to be since Raheem signed his new deal he's taken his foot off the gas a bit, just hope its a blip right now.
Also think Borini played well when he came on, didn't get much praise today in my opinion

I hope borini becomes a regular starter, Borini, Suarez and Sturridge.

Maybe should have been the starting 11,Henderson is definitely showing signs of improvement & Sturridge definitely made an impact.
RE Allen: If your good enough your big enough,and I personally think he can/will be eventually,the kids got talent.

Its just a simple case of a young player being burnt out by playing too many games.
