I agree. I remember Steven Gerrard saying what he saw in training that he couldn't wait for him to get fit. And I remember watching clips on YouTube of him at Roma before he joined us and he looked awesome. I guess sometimes some players' faces do not fit at clubs.

So, seems like Andy Carroll may be staying (fingers crossed) Bellamy might be off back to Cardiff (family issues) and just when you thought all the scandals surrounding Liverpool were over,up pops Standard Charter with a money laundering scandal (may explain lack of funds.) I'm so not looking forward to another season with more shit following my beloved Liverpool,I thought all that nonsense was a thing of the past when those two Clowns H & G left,looks like I was wrong.

You can't blame the owners for the sponsers misdeed's

You may be right! but having said that in order for the FSG & Liverpool to partner up there was an act of Due Diligence something that's seems to have been lacking in this sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered.
Granted the deal is worth $130mil over 4 years but if the bank was to go belly up,what then?not to mention all the non football related nonsense that is inevitably going to surround the club.
