Thats something Lawrenson wrote on the BBC football website. His information is wrong, Liverpool are looking for a director of football and Louis Van Gaal is the leading contender for that job.

In response to The Robot Devil's post, Lawrenson is a terrible analyst of football, as are all the pundits on Match of the Day. They give no insight what so ever and just say what everyone else can see for themselves

Lucas was our best player last season(not the one that just finished) and might have been this season if not for a injury, aquaman played great when he played for us and Gerrard is liverpool, you cant doubt his commitment or desire to wear the red shirt, get rid of gerrard and there will be a riot. gerrard would walk into any team in the world!

You missed my point gerrard is gettin on now injuries are becoming a big feature with him he is simply not the athlete he was we have to keep it real, aqua has not played for us in ages whats the point? We wasted money on him lets just sell him and be done he does not suit the prem, lucas in my opinion is not good enough yes he got better but thats all he has never impressed me and we should look for better, will be interesting to see what happens with rodgers.

First- Aquaman never had a chance to prove himself, he was injured nearly all his first season,roy and kenny didnt give him a chance.
Second- lucas is one of the best if not the best holding midfielder in the league and one of our best players
Third- your saying we should ditch gerrard because he is getting on a bit, He is our CAPTAIN!

Liverpool would really find it difficult to replace Gerrard and Lucas

Liverpool will never replace gerrard he is one in a million.

If Liverpool want to get back where they belong they need to sign 3 maybe 4 players this summer. They a winger, a striker and one or two centre midfielders, maybe just one more centre midfielder would do
