I think Maxi is definetly leaving (good squad player) Fabio A has gone back to his old club in Brazil-Gremino,Kuyt's pimping himself across europe & I think their may be a few more departures in order to fund possible transfers.I think considering the massive wage bill we have & compensation to swansea there will be a few more out goings than incomings,just hope we sign some quality.

Aqualani is not going to play for us again as he want's to stay in Italy & I think Swansea have already bought Sigurdsson

Quite satisfied to get redgers hope he will ship out the deadwood like aqualani gerrard and lucas and get us moving playing fast flowing football.

If Liverpool get rid of Gerrard and Lucas then Liverpool will plunge further into mid table mediocrity. Gerrard is a leader and has so much quality and Lucas has improved so much since his early days at Liverpool and you could tell he was missed when he got injured. Liverpool need to bring in quality not sell quality

Thing is Gerrard is now entering the part of his career were he is picking up more injuries and each one takes longer to shake his influence is getting less and less, yes Lucas improved but he is still not good enough we can't expect to win anything with him. Hopefully Rodgers will make some changes. We shall see

I don't think Sigurdsson has passed a medical yet at Swansea, so Liverpool can still buy him

downing had a long term injury at villa which hampered him and kept him of their team. has not been as good as he was at middlesbrough.

liverpool want Ibrahim Afellay from barca for £6m and Ryad Boudebouz from Sochaux. Gylfi Sigurdsson probably wanted to move to swansea because of rodgers. its like when chelsea got the special moaner and half the porto team followed him to chelsea.

Although I still think Brendan Rodgers will get the job, negotiations for compensation between Liverpool and Swansea have stalled. It appears Liverpool are unwilling to pay the 3-5 million compensation package for Rodgers

I do wish Mark Lawrenson would shut his fucking mouth for once. Shut a snide little cunt he is. Exactly how is bringing Brendan Rodgers a big gamble ? The old fella took over- 'Lawro' loved it- insisted Kenny would bring back the glory days...Great call ! Brendan Rodgers is the best young manager in the country bar none. He plays an attractive style of football, and encourages movement and rapid passing (in other words- pass & move: the old LFC tradition), and is widely respected. Seems to me Lawrenson's comments sum up what is wrong with a great deal of people- ex players & fans alike, they appear stuck in the past. Yes, LFC were kings of domestic & European football in the '80's; yes, Kenny was a good manager for you (in the '80's), but it's 2012 now, Liverpool are not title contenders, the team is weak and lacking in depth. Luckily you might be about to land a superb, intelligent young manager who has the potential (if he's given time & money) to rebuild Liverpool into a domestic (and possibly European) giant again.

if they want him they will pay it as its in his contract at the swans.
