Liverpool FC

I don't see Kelly as a first choice player yet as I don't think hes ready.
The one player I wan't to see given a chance this season is Pacheco.

This is the first choice starting line-up I would like to see:

And then for the subs:
Jones, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Aurelio, Lucas, Maxi, Jovanovic, Babel, N'gog, Pacheco

I know I have named 10 subs, but any of the players from that list would be good to have on the bench.

We have an amazing team.
I think that we could have a very good season this year.

I was wondering if Danny Wilson who you signed from rangers has had a game yet or even in the squad?
I havent seen him involved yet but i rate him as a very good young player.

(i can say this now as he doesnt play for rangers any more)

I'm still not sure about our first choice starting line-up, but Poulsen would not be in it! He's average and would not get into the Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Spurs & Man city sides or squads!

Poulsen is a good player. Players who play in his position are often under-rated. Lucas is another player who plays in the same position. I think he will be a good consistent performer for us.

i think that would be to risky, OUR kids are not as good as arsenals, and if im honest the carling cup is all WERE capable off competing in. barring torres and gerrard who else would get into manu's chelsea's and arsenals squad no one thats who. well possibly reina for arsenal but thats it.

Why do people come out with this shit, no offence chief but anyone with half a tactical football brain will know this is bollocks.
All these teams have got similar squads but play a variation of formations, the worst of which is 4-2-3-1 which we play, unless you have the perfect partnership as your 2 sitting midfielders e.g. Alonso & Mascherano then you're always gonna struggle to move the ball forward e.g. Lucas & Mascherano or now Lucas & Poulses/Meireles?.
Look at Man Utd, they play with no recognised DM player yet still getaway with not being over run on the counter attack as they have 2 players back & the 3rd who acts as playmaker will also fill in therefore there's not a huge amount of pressure on the defence & they can transition the ball forward without any of the top 3 dropping back to pick up the ball.
If we played 4-3-3 like Utd & Chelsea we'd challenge for the title as our squad is no worse if not better than these two teams, look at the teams who play
4-3-3 & are always in the challenge for the top prizes, Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca, Real, Spain, Brazil & even City as the players they've bought are no better than Liverpool's but they sit well in the 4-3-3 system, this is the same for both Liverpool & England.

This fucks me right off as i don't understand how both Rafa & Sammy Lee & now Hodgson & Sammy can't see this but little old me with my 1st4sport level 1 certificate in coaching football can come up with it

As for our squad not being as good, most of the players are of similar quality so i don't know how you come up with this.

you can not be serious, there is a reason you have won fuck all in the last five years and its not because you dont play 4-3-3 its because your squad is very average barr torres reina and gerrard. just because you buy players from established teams i.e poulsen from juventus doesnt automatically mean they are class players. its not just united and chelsea's squad who are superior to yours, arsenals and spurs and even city's are better.

this squad that is apparently " no worse if not better " than chelsea's and united's should be five nil down ere, spains number 3 is keeping you in it, no doubt you'll win 1 nil the scruffy likkle bastards

I know ur a liverpool fan and passionate but your talking utter shit.
Your squad is poor compared to the other 'big' teams.
Only Torres and Gerrard are top quality players, the rest are just average players. Nowhere near good enough to compete for the Premier League.

And if you yourself had a 'half tactical football brain' you would be big enough to admit that.

I would say a repeat finish of last year would be about as best you could hope for.
