You fully shoud expect Liverpool to being challenging for the title. That's what being a fan is about. 99.99999% of football supporters are fair minded and reasonable people in our other lives but quite rightly, fair mindedness and reasonableness take a giant step off the cliff and is being booted in the arse by our biggest shoe on their way down.

Liverpool will not be contesting the 8 week ban on Luis Saurez and therefore will not be playing against Manchester City tonight.

But they do not accept that Saurez has done anything wrong.

saurez likely return could be the man utd at old trafford, the atmosphere could be very nasty thats the just players. evra could be targeted by both fans and players.

Stewart Downing has been arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Apparently he kicked her so thankfully she wasn't harmed
