I had to concede on this point in another thread a few months ago but there are an awesome amount of Freeviewers out there. I am just saying to launch a service and include Sky and Cable makes life a bit harder than it needs to be.

we are looking at ways to make the content available on the web so Sky viewers will still be able to view the live shows and recorded scenes

at the moment there aren't any plans to launch on Sky that I'm aware of

One reason for BS to stick with the freeview approach is that a lot of people have digi-tuners in their tvs which don't output (except to the screen of course) and so can't be recorded as well as for those with more modern set-top dig-boxes, they tend to output encrypted streams with lame forms of macrovision applied to hamper attempts at recording.

If the BSX channel were available via Sky there would be no credible way to stop recording of the shows as Sky boxes have multiple outputs most of which can be recorded somehow even if for example Sky+ doesn't allow it (much like the Adult and Playboy channels who's shows you can watch but can no longer record).

That all being said a few magic cables and a bit of savvy will allow you to work around and record anything if you're willing to try it.

Taking this into account, can anybody give me a reason why on earth I or anyone else would feel paying a nightly or monthly fee to see censored porn would be common sense or worthwhile? Help me here - I'm lost Big Grin

Is this the switchboard lady at Cellcast you are reffering to? I think she is quite snotty and pretty arrogant too. annoyed

You expect service with a smile not a groan. The customer is always right and Cellcast should fathom it.

i think it goes without saying myself..

where else am i gonna see camilla's lovely wet fanny for a fiver??

the live shows alone have made it worthwhile having a look once a week

its that simple as that

I agree with every thing you have said there mate , i have had a few problems in the past with wrong pin numbers etc , but the live shows are well worth paying for although there was a very tame live show a few weeks ago featuring Lolly Badcock for some reason , but they are mostly top class stuff , some of the recorded stuff is first rate as well , mainly when Cellcast have have produced the scenes them selves .

Also wonder whether the shows viewing figures have dwindled. Be interesting to know if that is the case.

It's really getting on my wick on how many times this channel is being advertised on the main BS show on FV.
