Elite TV / Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion

Elite have lost some good names, (Sammie, Michelle, Hannah), but have gained some as well (Paige and Rachel on nights, Adele).
Caty being on a break has been a loss, but only a temporary one.
Night show specials from Fernanda, Sophia, and Kelly have been amazing. Alice continues to do her nights.
Not to mention the 2 US pornstars who have appeared.

Whatever may be said Elite are the target of offcom at the moment, they have by far the strictest dress code for daytime (look at some of the outfits on RLC, latex, very skimpy). And night shows are not as revealing as other channels either.

Yet only they are getting reports to offcom?

Making a stance is impossible, so they are being extremely compliant, so that they don't get forced out of business.

I haven't noticed a huge drop in calls, the girls still seem busy, but obviously it is impossible to tell how many listeners in there are.

TBH the naked thing I don't get. The girls can get naked, but can't show anything, so what difference does it make? If they have a thong on or are using their hand etc the same rule applies.

So overall I wouldn't say Elite are 'bad' or 'rubbish'. they are following the rules very strictly, but still put on a decent show. They have the best picture quality on 3 of their 4 night channels, and the night show 'specials' are the best done by anyone.

I would say they are still one night girl light in the roster, and 1 day girl as well, with Rachels transfer. (which they are recruiting for by the looks of this weeks new trialees)

I didn't say sammie or another babe that has left elite over the past year isn't a loss. They are all losses to elite but not big ones compared to the likes of of caty cole, Sophia Knight or Pauge Green I was simply saying sammie wasn't one of elite's top babes because even though her shows were good they werent as good as shows from the likes of Sophia and caty and paige

I have to agree that currently Elite are the best of a bad bunch. When one of the other channels decides to up their game I'm sure Elite will follow suit.

honestly i/we couldn't care less atm. we have pretty much stopped calling the channels. its been months since we bothered calling elite, and the rest dont really offer the kind of girls we want to talk to.
in fact theres only 2 now camilla on B.S. and tia jones on sport but even they don't get regular calls...
basically since the new guy turned up we have lost all interest in the channels.
they are to scared of ofcom and im pretty sure that the new guys is responsible for the current flurry of ofcom interest in elite.

Your post hits the nail on the head!

We are running a business here and our priority is the protection of that business and the jobs of those involved with the operation of the business.

I quite clearly remember reading posts on here when Bang Babes were going hell for leather saying how great they were yet as soon as Bang were shut down the very same people were saying how irresponsible they had been for not complying with Ofcoms clear directions.

If you have any doubt about our ability or willingness to put on great visual shows then take a look at our history and I think it will clearly demonstrate what we are capable of.

The fact is the game has changed dramatically and we are doing all that we can to remain within the rules and avoid the kind of treatment that Bang received.

If you are unhappy with our current visual output then I would suggest that you all individually complain to Ofcom and see what kind of response you get. You can use the same official complaint process that those who monitor our channels (and we are not talking Ofcom here) use to lodge their complaints.

To be clear even now when we have reduced our output to the tame level which it is at we are still receiving complaints!

It is a shame that in the UK in 2011 we are so restricted in what we can broadcast even post midnight within the clearly labelled adult section of the Sky EPG!

I would only ask that next time you watch any of our channels you take the above into consideration before pointing the finger of blame.

as if you are inside the rules the complaints must be irrelevant so why worry about them

As tame as they are some may still raise a minor infringement under the BCAP code (which we are all now governed by) which may lead to a breach on our license.
Aside from this it still takes time, money and effort on our part to respond formally to each of these compliants which is a pain in the arse!

"elitetvonline" , is there any chance of you getting a Dutch licence like Cellcast , the Cellcast girls seem to get away with much more than girls from other channels and BS never seems to get any hassle from Ofcom .

Yep, it is what it is, and at the moment Elite TV is indeed shite! That is all.
