They did. But, IMO, the full story only really confirms a lack of any genuine impetus to engage with the wider fanbase in the way guys are asking for here.. This was only time (IIRC) a channel rep has answered questions here in the last 10 years. And the motives seemed entirely suss to me at the time. Tellingly, as I see it, this was when Sin was arriving on the scene; both the announcement of the boss' q&a and the delivery of the answers coincided with dates connected to their rival's launch. I ask guys how much they think what we had to say back then was really of interest to BS given those timings and the fact the event has never been repeated since? 

More recently, the 66 boss did a short q&a session on their chat box. It was one afternoon last summer. He promised it was something he wished to make a regular occurrence. He has not been seen there since.

What might be interesting to the channels is if we did a survey on the forum about the channels and what our viewing/participation habits are together with what we like/don't like. If I were the channels I would not want any survey to be blighted by some of the venom seen on here so it would have to be dispassionate in tone but useful in content.

These things take a lot of time to put together and more importantly to interpret the answers in a way that adds value to a business.

In the past I have paid for syndicated industry wide research and it has cost tens of thousands of pounds to be done properly. The channels don't I believe have the resources (money or skilled people) to do this themselves so I doubt they will ever commission such research.

More 480p streaming today. HD cams have been out for 12 years and still they refuse to upgrade

It isn't rocket science when you watch a babe for a long period, when she is constantly waving a phone around and you know she hasn't got an ear piece in, and the only chat she utters is to the cameraman, and her own phone becomes the centre of attention, she isn't getting the bread and butter calls in.

Gemma is probably making money for S66 passively via her pervecam.

She's not looking at the main camera and playing on her mobile phone.

Turning FTA freeloaders into callers, appears to not be a priority.

She probably has regulars that allow her to meet her targets.
