But why is just Skate's thanks in black, but his username is still in green?

Skate is a supermod.
Because I am a mod, I can see the online members list with all the hidden members.
Skate is visible in that list because he is not hidden and his name is in black.
Steve Smc is hidden and his name is also shown in black.
Normal mods are shown in green.

Congrats on the upgrade Skate, You should of been a Super Mod from the start!!

Sorry to ask what seems obvious. But has all the channels representative on here had there names changed to "Maroon" for any particular reason?

Or is it just to make them more recognisable.

Changed colour, yes. To maroon as opposed to any other colour, no - other than a lot of other colours are already in use.

Yes. It means that members who have a vested interest in posting on the forum can be easily identified. The change will shortly be extended to all members (not just channel reps) who post here representing or promoting a service/product.
