2) Chris is Lisa's neighbour and loves boating.

5) Lisa has two daughters.
6) Monique can't make knots.

Question : Who are the married couples?

The answer was nose snot, a rich man you see had a hanky whereas the poor man just blew his nose onto the ground.

Lucent-X's answer was better than my idea, which was that John rows and his wife and daughter are forced to tread water whilst hanging onto the gunwales and being lightly smashed in the face by the oars on every stroke. not perfect...
OR John fixes a pulley on the bank, loops a rope and rows across, then fixes another pulley on the far bank, loops and ties the rope and then hauls the boat back across; mum and daughter get in and John hauls them across. And then sets up a lucrative ferry business.
neither of these are correct, right?
