The record may be old but I've just heard it for the first time ever and I thought it was rather good.

For instance Avenged Sevenfold are one of the few newer 'Metal' bands that can get an album in the top 40 in the UK and there would be no hope of one of their songs getting to number one. Many other bands like Green Day and Metallica are mainstream and would not of fitted in with the campaign. Should of been a Pantera song to coincide with the 5 years since Dimbags passing, but that would never happen unfortunately. Would be wicked if it did though, 'Fucking Hostile' as Christmas number one lol, I could die happily if that happened.

It's one of the disadvantages of being successful, you get called mainstream...Wink

Don't know what Joe's fans are whinging about anyway as he'll be number 1 today as no one will be downloading "RATM" anymore now the object has been achieved. Unfortunately for Joe that todays chart never gets broadcast as a rule as the sales are so small Radio 1 usually just play the best selling songs of the year.

Just checked the website and at justgiving.com and the Rage campaign has raised £94,889 for Shelter so a big pat on the back for all lovers of real music out there. It woukd be nice if Cowell were to match this from his millions but I won't hold my breath.
