RE: Ofcom Discussion
Why thank you Ofcome! What a breath of fresh air, and it's that kind of cannot do attitude that should get us through this economic downturn, along with a little good old honest sexual fun while we are at it. Three cheers for austerity!

Under the Communications Act 2003, Ofcom has a duty to set and enforce standards for broadcast content as appear to it best calculated to secure the standards objectives. Ofcom recently announced a further like-for-like reduction in its annual budget. This is year two of a four-year programme to reduce significantly expenditure across the organisation while maintaining capability and effectiveness.

Reviews of viewer concerns and complaint volumes has highlighted that the adult sector is not an issue for most members of the UK population and does not warrant significant intervention. Ofcom proposes scaling back resources allocated to investigating the sector and only investigating if 5 or more independent viewer complaints are received within 7 days of a broadcast and the content is supposedly stronger than BBFC 18 or equivalent (unrated live content). A six month trial period starts today.

and a very happy april fools day to u too Big Laugh

RE: Ofcom Discussion
What gets me is Ofcom's use of the word harm and offense, if we were to stick to that statement across the whole range of channels we'd be left with nothing, being offended is something we all go through on a daily basis whether it be biased editorial content on the news/sport something out there is going to piss us off at some point. What I also don't get is you can't show the pussy but you can show the breasts on the babe channels, again a very flawed argument, if you don't like the babe channels and are easily offended by them the breasts, pussy or bikini outfit's are all going to offend you equally, infact just seeing this type of channel in the first place will offend you if you don't like it. Because of Ofcom's biased attitude towards the babe channels we are now left with this watered down shandy piss on a daily basis which on the subject of being offended, I am very offended that our viewing pleasure should be restricted all because of Ofcom's flawed arguments and in general very fucked up idea's annoyed

RE: Ofcom Discussion
Well what i don't understand is that Ofcom will allow:

No.1- To see boobs after 10pm
No.2- The babes are allowed to go nude after 11pm
No.3- Ofcom allow some 241 interaction however with minimal contact

Now if I've got this right all of the above Ofcom deem not to be Harmful or Offensive. So are Ofcom saying that if a Young child happens to stumble on this content that it won't cause any harm and offence?
Right OKHuh

However a Babe laying on her back legs spread showing her pussy, or either touching herself either with the Handthong is deemed Harmful and offensive mmmh I'm confusedHuh

If I've got this right, it just goes to show why Ofcom needs to be either deregulated of dismantled altogether, there so called rules simply don't add upannoyed

Yes if you look at their annual plan on page 19 it says they are consulting again. Maybe they won't survive this time.

RE: Ofcom Discussion
If any new Ofcom rules come out for the babe channels which are worse that the ones that currently exist I also think it'll be bye bye to the channels and certain bankruptcy. I don't hold out much hope that the rules will in any way be relaxed more taking into consideration of the recent storm they kicked off about with regard to the content on Babestation and as we know the channel execs are all too happy to agree with anything Ofcom come up with as they lack balls to tell them to go and jump.

RE: Ofcom Discussion
Ofcom is against the freedom of the people to watch what they want.
Is it not bit irresponsible that Ofcom is doing everything it can to destroy these channels, because people need these jobs to pay bills. Some babes probably do modelling shoots and porn, but I say there are some babes that rely on these channels for income. Its really annoying these corrupt Ofcom bastards ruining entertainment for people

RE: Ofcom Discussion
Effectively what Ofcom are saying these days is masterbation is wrong and is a sin which must be stamped out, they say no problem we'll let you air your show, just so long as it's not erotic and not to cause arousal in the slightest way, well excuse me for a minute but isn't that the very point of them in the first place, they are supposed to be wank channels, were set up to be wank channels so how else can you market a late night sex channel if it can't be sexy. They hide behind this supposed blanket that kids are still up and would tune into the shows, so what if they did, where's the evidence to support the claim that they'd actually cause any harm anyhow, infact I make no bones about it but I had my first wank when I was about 12 and would have been more that delighted if I had something like Babestation going on back then instead of some used porn mag I found in my older brothers bedroom, what I ask is going through puberty is perfectly natural so why does Ofcom seem to have such a problem with these sort of channels in the first place, so what if a minor accidently stumbles across them, it's better that than some extremely fucked up porn on the internet that would possibly cause them some harm than the sight of a mere naked women.
