Every DVD has to be rated before release by the BBFC. This is especially important for porn; if there was anything on the DVD that needed to be cut to get an 18 and they didn't bother getting a certificate they'd be in big trouble. This has to be done in advance and is charged by the minute - I worked out once that it's well over £300 an hour, so for a smallish company releasing a DVD is a huge outlay even before manufacture and postage. That explains the price.

That said, £6 isn't "free" and not sending them as promised is very poor.

Exactly! My problem isn't with the £6.50 charge, it's with them telling us it's to cover postage. Why do they have to lie? Why can't they simply say that the cost is £6.50 including postage? The 'free' hook only works if the hidden charges are... well, hidden.

I got the first dvd they produced but the free stuff was pretty tame.If you wanted the hard content you had to text a number to get a password.I cant remember the price of the texts as I didn't bother texting them

No, I think you're missing my point. I'm not the remotest bit interested in their dvd - soft or hard - it's the 'free' bollocks that annoys me.
