green day vs offspring

they are often thought of being very similar. not sure why because they are very different bands. any fave songs or vids?

Great choice firekind. I'm a big fan of The Offspring and Green Day (pre American Idiot) and because you already picked my fav Offspring song i'll put up my fav Green Day one

Greenday would win the battle in my opinion, the Offspring have so many songs that sound the same, play Crazy Taxi for 5 hours straight and u'll see what i mean.

pre american idiot? i thought that was an amazing album. but i really didnt like the early stuff too much. i thought that album was fantastic. you prefer their earlier work? thats interesting. what was your favourite greenday albums?

the noise the offspring made is hard to top. its the sort of noise that makes you feel like you can kick the shit out of 5 pigs then rather stupidly run through a wall. the wall bit always gets me.

Me too Firekind, I thought American Idiot was an outstanding album. Every song was quality. For me, it is one of their best, if not THE best, albums the have done.

it looks like we are a threat to green day too lol. i cant believe they dont let their vids on youtube. what a crock of shit.

Thats the difference these days, Dookie was made by a punk band, American Idiot was made by buisnessmen.
