Elite TV / Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion

So why am I so critical of Elite, reason being is they set the benchmark, they were one of the first channel to offer us full nudity and also probably one of the first to use the handthong too, they had the best models, superior screen quality aswell as interesting and elaborate sets. Elite is pretty much a victim of their own success and built up a strong fanbase and over time we all had a certain expectation level. Elite hit the giddy heights, they were the best channel by an absolute mile for a good while. Infact they were rarely critised, they went from strength to strength, sure Ofcom are about but they've allways been about since 2003 but that never stopped Elite. Sure be cautious to a certain degree but when you switch it on and it looks like a dayshow at 1am in the morning you just know that they have interpreted Ofcom rules far too literally, infact the Ofcom fines they were recieving was overall for the content on the day shows with only the occassional reference to the night show

I have no idea what ofcom may do but I doubt we would learn about it for some time yet. I really hope BS are immune or under the radar or have a plan or something. But I think it is wise for other channels to watch for a bit (months) until they may decide to follow. I don't mind BS having a day in the sun, they deserve it. I may have channels I prefer on the whole but I certainly don't mind another channel doing something good and getting away with it.

PS - Elite certainly could use oil though, they are a little too cautious.

Great point. In a month or so if BS is still putting on shows like they are now and Elite are still doing theyre same routine than criticism is due. Elites been getting criticized for months now and its only now that BS has turned up their shows has all the channels looked pale in comparison. Hopefully all the channels are studying BS right now to see what they can and cannot get away with in the future.

And for christsake break out the oil Elite, its the cheapest set with the highest return.

Agree about the oil, Elite seem to be heeding Ofcom's ridiculous oil regulations more than others.

Another thought on Elite's greater self-regulation is how well the channel is doing financially. Maybe the business is even more vulnerable to damaging fines hitting them than ever before. Scared them more to hold further back.

If you want oil go watch Lori or Camilla on BS
If you want a channel with a mixture (shapes and ages) of babes then watch RLC
Masti for your asian types
XxXpanded for a non contact gangbang
Elite for your model esq types.

Simple!

The word "battle" implies there is some kind of competition, but with Paige there really is no contest. She'll outperform them both going by her past few shows as well.

True. Paige's backside really is in a different league to the others, even if that news does break Wazo's heart.
