so me and bigguy do we have to support a team to comment on this thread? well let me see then can i go for barcelona cos they seem to be doing well or does it have to be a local team like your local team liverpool which is accross the water is it not?

im east mids, so the teams from are leicester city, forest, mansfield, notts county, burton, derby.

if we do have to support a team i will go for Joe Public FC from trinidad and tabago, i use to live there until the age of 5.

Well usually a football banter thread on a forum is for fans of football to give each other stick over each others teams. Maybe thats just my view, i dunno. To be honest though, i have absolutely no problem with you 2 guys posting here. It's an open forum afterall. I just made that earlier post because i found it very amusing that the 2 non-football supporting guys had the most to say for themselves on a football thread. Is that a crime?? Or did it just put your nose out that somebody else posted something that others would find funny??

In regards to your little dig about me being from across the water.....does that mean i'm not supposed support Liverpool?? And just a little sidenote.....i go to every one of my local team Limerick FC's home matches too. They're in the second tier of irish football. The season has just begun....they play the league season in Spring/Summer in Ireland.

Listen kid no offense to you & bigguy01 who I've been informed isn't a football fan (I didn't know this) but this is a FOOTBALL BANTER thread which I set up for all the football fans to have a bit of banter with as the Official Football Thread wasn't being used & even if it was this was still a thread where we could all come & have a little friendly dig at each other while the serious football talk could stay in the Official Football Thread.

The reason why lindor had a problen with me last week was because I took a quote from the Prediction Thread & responded to it in here so we didn't clog up the Predictions thread like I've just said I set this up for Football Banter only & you & your pal just keep responding to every post with sometimes totally pointless posts & today both of you are engaged in a conversation with each other & whilst doing so are adding to the pages so eveyone has to click back 2,3,4... pages till they start reading the last football fans post & it can be very time consuming & annoying so like I said on offense to you both but if you just want to talk to each other then do it with a PM or bring back the Official Football Thread & people will then use that & come back in here to have a bitch with each other.

I don't know why I'm postig this as you'll just bitch about it anyway, but I doubt it's just me who has the opinion of which I've just stated???
