Babestation - General Chat & Discussion

Gawd almighty! I hope what I've just seen on BSXtra isn't what 'babestation' has been referring to as the new system to replace the black boxes. Double height OSGs we can do without. Besides, why take three lines to say what requires only one? Do they seriously think that putting it up three times makes it any more understandable? Geez . . .

I am sure they do it on purpose. They put the black boxes (not to mention the blue box) on screen as they know it pisses the viewer off. They understandably are only interested in the next caller, especially the brand new caller. In their simple minds they have not clicked that the person viewing is also the person on the phone. I can imagine the producers all having a laugh at how much they take the piss out of their customers; badly written text and flashing boxes. They know full well that they will always have viewers for one good reason. Girls and we are just putty in their hands....or so they think

Is Babestation, just recruiting babes who they can use on their Extreme shows?
They have brought in Reede, Amanda, Rio and Denni (before she moved on to Babeworld)
Have the twins been on Extreme yet?

Must have been the same writer on Glamourchase, where "Pretti" was one of the girls one screen. At the very least they should get the girls' names right

I do think they do it on purpose. One night, the black box was going from left to right, over and over again as if someone in the control room was rapidly clicking on a button. Obviously just to be annoying, as they know we'll post about and moan about it. As great as many of the women are on Babestation, the reason Elite has much less complaints is because they respond to our requests and issues, and try to amend them, and not annoy the customer on purpose. Their website is also much nicer looking as well, though I do like a lot of the pics that Babestation dude has been posting.

It's just too 50/50 with Babestation all of the time. While Elite does need some extra women and has become a bit dull, they have no OSGs or interruptions, and neither does Blue Bird of all channels. If they can do it well, why can't Babestation, which is apparently the oldest station if I've heard right. You'd think by now that they are successful enough not to need to use all of that junk on the screen.

This company could be much better with just a little more effort, if they have the means to do so, as I don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Babestation dude says that they are coming up with another way of using the OSGs or possibly getting rid of them? If that's so, then that's good news, I think. But another thing they could do, is change licenses, so we can see some nude 2-4-1s for once. The other channels do them, so why can't Babestation? People keep saying that they have a Dutch license which allows them to do harder material, but that isn't true as Ofcom still rules them. However, they seem to be more strict on 2-4-1s for some reason, yet the solo shows are more full on. I don't get it really.

It wasn't on long, just a few quick interviews backstage with Vanessa Walker,(with her saying she's no intention of doing nights btw) Ella, and then Preeti & Priya.

I saw your original post giving us advance warning, but then I forgot to set the video. However, with big thanks also to pm74 for the iPlayer link I’ve just seen the programme. And you’re right Jam Da Man, that guy did look very taken with Preeti and Priya - as you would.

It was interesting to hear the different girls’ views (night show vs day show etc), and particularly that it was more the phone chat than the nudity which put Vanessa off nights. I’ve often wondered which is generally the bigger deterrent – shame they could only get one opinion on that issue.

I don’t think anyone was ever gonna sit there and say “Actually, Babestation is the worst job I’ve ever had and I hate it”, whatever they really thought, but the twins seemed very spontaneous and forthright in saying they liked the job, and they convinced me. I must admit it was a little confusing seeing Priya and Preeti on a programme, hearing someone announce that they'd done some naughty photoshoots, and then not being told what number to text to. But that's the BBC for you - no business sense whatsoever.

I assume Babestation selected which girls would appear. If so, they chose very well. I’m sure BS were proud to be represented as they were.

Funny you should mention that programme just now - I've just watched it again too!

Yeah, he looked like he was gonna faint or something...
But then, I got the feeling that there were some heavies just off camera waiting for the interviewer to say or do something wrong so they could chuck him out, hence his nervousness.

I wonder if it was his idea for that show in the first place; Imagine going to the BBC Controller (or whoever) and saying -
"I've got an idea for a short documentary, it involves me getting to go in the Babestation building and ogling some of the babes. What do you think?"
"Yeah, capital idea! Get plenty of footage! " ....

Although it was a serious programme, I can't understand airing it on a Saturday afternoon when kids will be watching. (It was shown during "BBC Switch" time, which is basically the Beeb's version of T4) Highlighting the darker areas of Glamour modelling and Escorting is one thing, but advertising Babestation willl surely only encourage younger viewers to Google the name... and possibly end up calling....

In the end though, I was just pleased with getting 2 seconds of Gracie on my freeview recorder! And without OSGs!

Last night it was the turn of Kandi's Freeview fans to fall victim to the Curse of Glamourchase. A little less than 32 minutes on BS1 and then absolutely zilch until 1 hr 15 min of tameness on Ch 97 at 3am.

When will Cellcast stop treating Freeviewers like shit?

Later on BS1 Ava and Tiffany gave us something which I don't believe I have seen before, unless it was on the Party People 3am Show – a completely non-topless 2-4-1. Gentle stroking was the only contact between the girls.

There were two 2-4-1s on Xtra, Dani/Michelle and Dani/Karina, the first of which had even less interaction than the one on BS1 – some schoolgirlish kissing and a little oil spread on Dani's bum.

At times during both of these the screen showed a giant black box telling us it was a 2-4-1, together with an almost double height OSG with three lines of text giving the same information. The latter seemingly requiring "2-4-1 . . . 2-4-1 . . . 2-4-1 . . . " to be repeated across the full width of the screen in two of the text lines.

Amazingly, my IQ of more than one digit plus a modest education had enabled me to figure this out for myself from the fact that there were two girls on screen with only one phone.

Oh, and the BS1 mics conked out for 45 mins (or, more likely, someone on the desk was too preoccupied with playing with his black boxes to bother with a minor point like patching the mics through).
