channels 912 and 959 are gone from sky

this is why its all being toned down abit so they prove they can act within the rules will say the last few weeks were a one off blah blah

Do Ofcom actually have any powers like this? To force broadcasters to have UK licences only? To forcibly block a signal? Several people have said that mr mysery's explanation makes sense, but in reality it only makes sense if Ofcom actually have such powers as described, and I have never heard before that powers like this exist. If other people are right and this explanation makes sense it doubtless means that everyone else knows more than I do.

I am not saying Ofcom have powers to force people to have Uk licences ONLY clearly they don't , what i am saying is if Ofcom think the Dutch licence allows Bangmedia to transmit more explicit shows than they deem acceptable to what can be see on unencrypted channels in the uk then they may have the powers to prevent the EPGs being used on Sky and block the freeview signal until things can get sorted, they may then ask Bamedia to seriously tone down what they show using the Dutch licence or give them the option of applying for a UK licence in order for them to start transmitting again using Sky's EPG and the freeview platform .Ofcom must have powers to block signals from channels using foreign licences or you would be able to see R18 style shows on UK tv with Ofcom not being able to prevent it . ps it's only a theory of mine

well, i hope that when things get back to normal, that the channels apologise to us in some way. say, TTT and Emma Spellar joining in with Danni H on the night show.

I'm sorry to say that that statement incorrect. Sky operate an open platform which is explained nicely at wikipedia as follows;

Thank you for posting this dizzy_davidh, as I made exactly the same point earlier in this thread only to be flatly contradicted by cosmonaut, who said pretty much the same thing as bigguy01, that the EPG was Sky's EPG to do with as they pleased. I had been considering apologising to cosmonaut for posting incorrect information!

politically correctness it's so boring it is about 959 & 912 not being available and it has been answered since 2days ago by an email/letter from bangmedia

I'm just pretty fucked off with this country, it's the worst country in europe in terms of censorship. So fucking what if Bangbabes have overstepped the mark in what they should and not show, at the end of the day we all want to be entertained it's all or nothing as far as I'm concerned, tame shows are no use, either bring back all 3 channels and continue were you left off or don't fucking bother as the shows on 902 since the disappearance of 912 and 959 have been bullshit and yes I no longer buy into this theory that it's anything technical, the channels have been removed for a reason and Bangbabes have shown themselves to be cowards by going into hiding rather than telling the truth to the fans. I hope Bangabes do prove me wrong on this one and come back with all guns blazing but its not looking very fucking hopeful.

The main thing is the situation is sorted asap so we can enjoy the wonderful performances of bangbabe we already know why this is happening

I give it until Friday and if all 3 channels are not returned to the SKY epg then Bangbabes is officially over and as for channel 902 operating as a single entity it's simply not feasible. Allready Babestation, Elite and Sportxxx have pissed all over them since Friday and their shows have hardly been spectacular but a shit load more entertaining than channel tame 902 which is doing nothing to enhance the reputation of Bangbabes. Note we do not want or expect to see tame shows its not fucking entertaining, its makes for shit viewing and for £1.50 a minute I expect the callers to be low, fuck playing it safe it doesn't work and all its doing is running the show into the ground.

Scottish bloke I think you speak for a lot of us here pal. At least bangBabes were trying to give it a go before they were offed. Babestation is a joke and the rest aint worth talking about.

I used to be an Elite devotee but their nightshows have almost been sleep inducing!!!There is no way I watching this shit with the Cricket on tonight its more interesting!!!

Totally agree as i said in one of my earlier post while the one BangBabe channel is on no tame shows that includes Lilly Donna Duke for good performances nakedness pure filth lucy summer, lucy & zara Adele are the ones to produce great shows and performances to keep the one Bangbabe channel on top form!
