Like i said with the comparisons all the players i listed are either equal i.e Gareth Bale & Glenn Johnson or Liverpool's are better i.e Manuel Almunia's not as good as Pep Reina, Tomas Rosicky isn't as good as Dirk Kuyt. It's all about quality in depth.Rafa brought a lot of shit through the door.He's left Hodgson a mountain of mid table no hopers to clear out.
He's done a decent job of it so far.
He should have kept hold of Aquilani though.The lads a creative player who can see a pass.We badly need players like that at Anfield.

We're playin 4-4-2 with 2 unnatural wingers & then the 2 central midfielders are told to sit & defend i thought the hole point of them was 1 was the defender & the other passed the ball & got forward.
It's as if he's just took over at Fulham & wants them to set out from the start to contain the other team & try not to get beat.. What the fuck even Blackpool played 4-3-3 at Chelsea. That story about Martin O'Neill, i half hope it's true as he played an attack minded 4-3-3 at Villa.

I was happy with the 11 today and the set up of the side Mitchell.Thought it was a good positive line up with Meireles and Joe in the side with Steve and Fernando.
I don't think Poulson is the man for us though..think he's too slow for the prem.People just glide past him too often and he's not got the legs to catch up?Maxi aint good enough either and dosent desreve his own song just now in my eyes.What has he done for Liverpool?Not convinced by Konch yet either.I'd prefer Martin Kelly in there.
The 1st half we were rotten.Were always poor in the 1st half for some reason under Roy?Can't get my head round it!
2nd half much better,thought Joe,Steve and Meireles done well in there together.Pity bout conceding the late goal.
Just gonna have to be patient this year i think and try and climb the table.
If we can play with Gerrard,Meireles,Cole and Torres in most games this season we should have a crack at one of the top 4 places.

The startin 11 was spot on but the formation & tactics were shit. Can't see top 4 to be honest mate not the way we're playin we got in their box once & won a penalty, but we probably woudn't have scored anyway, we had 6 shots all game with 2 on target & they were the two dead balls, we created fuck all same as at Birmingham.
Our next 4 games are, 22 Sep N'hampton H, 25 Sep Sunderland H, 30 Sep Utrecht A, 3 Oct Blackpool H, Sunderland will be a hard game & that just goes to show how we're playing Sunderland at home should be a comfortable 2-0 win but now i'm not so sure, even if we win these games without lookin great then we go into the derby at Goodison thinkin we're on form.

Poulsen isn't the best, like i said we should've spent £4m on Flamini, typical Liverpool manager like Rafa buying what he wants instead of whats needed. I think Konchesky is a good left back, Nani caused him problems cause Cole didn't give any cover, i also think Maxi is decent but he's not a natural winger like i said we don't have any that's why i don't understand the 4-4-2.

This is what i think we should be playin.

.........Cole........Torres.....Maxi
.........Meireles...Poulsen...Gerrard
Konchesky....Agger....Carragher....Johnson
........................ Pepe

Just like Chelsea & Utd we wouldn't need a mascherano style DM as the 3 would all offer cover & we could even play Lucas instead of Poulsen.

Jovanovic & Kuyt Can play both positions as forward & striker, Cole can play right & left of the 3 CM & it would offer Babel a more natural roll like Nani & Malouda, Spearing could get more games as we would have 2 players along side him & Johnson wouldn't be as vulnerable with the 3 CM to cover the defence, Agger or Skrtel, either they're both quality.

I really don't see any arguments with this as every player will be in a natural position just like Chelsea & Utd + teams like Barca etc etc..
This is what i was talkin about when i compared all the squads but most Chelsea & Utd fans just talked shit sayin it was bollocks even thought its the same as they have... Fools!!!
