Bit of a puzzle, that. Portland Enterprises (i.e. Richard Desmond) has indeed bought Channel Five. Logically you would expect him to want to take back the Ch 97 airtime for himself rather than off-load it completely to a competitor.

Apparently Cellcast purchased the licence for ch97 in July , so they my have purchased the air time from the old owners of channel 5 before they sold it off , whatever people say about Cellcast they are very shrewed and crafty business people . I still can't understand why Partyland is so tame and they do not show BSXtreme adverts , unless the new licence has yet to come into effect .

Talking about channel5 some news Channel 5 sacks *all* Male announcers

look like Richard Desmond is stating the changes i like were this is going the changes come in to effect from next month so all female announcers
