Review of last night's show

I did not record any of the shows last night , but i watched them live up-to around 1.15 , Charlie C opened the BS1 freeview show and did a short 2-4-1 section with Reede , she later appeared on BS Extra ,and i think she also opened that show on freeview

Stevie's a glamour babe, so she wouldn't have any problems about going nude (we know she doesn't), but she isn't as raunchy in other ways as Michelle. She's more your "girl next door" type!

Hi guys. How are you? I'm fed up again. I set my dvd recorder up for BS2 as (usual) hoping to see (at least) KANDI,LOUISE PORTER and GEORGIE.I realised that I stood a chance of seeing Yvette at least once but would have put up with her.Having set things up and checked that it would record I went to bed in anticipation.BUT this morning a message;disc not formatted correctly; no read disc! So I'm naturally very upset and disappointed again at missing GEORGIE yet again.I bet she was very good as usual on BS2(if she was on!);please let me know.Were my other "favourite" girls on BS[/align]2 as well?
I suppose I should have used a brand new disc but thought that the one I used was fairly new anyway and hardly used. I'm actually wondering whether my machine senses that GEORGIE is on and mucks up for me! Anyway work now;I'll be back on here again later on to catch up on your reports and to see whos on tonight.Bye for now.

Hi Big Boobies, Having read many times about your problems with faulty discs, may I suggest that you invest in a DVD recorder with built in hard drive such as the Panasonic DMR EX 769 which records 70 hours in standard play (superb quality) or 140 in LP (acceptable). You can pick one up for around £200 from Electrical 123.com or many other companies for a little more. The beauty with them is that you can edit your recordings and burn to disc for later viewing. I have two previous models, the EX77 and find them quite superb!

Seriously I think I tryed to use a dvd disc from a fauty batch (since replaced) without realising that its probably the only disc which I hadnt thrown away! Sods law worked again! Anyway what was BS2 like last night;would I have seen GEORGIE,LOUISE,KANDI,KARINA and STEVIE? I would just like to know what I missed;any caps would be good as well.Sorry to be a pain but I just guess that I missed another great show! Did anything "special" happen? Please put me out of my misery;thanks guys. See you all later.Bye for now.

Haha - nice one! Seriously though, why not try a different brand of DVD? Modern high speed DVD recorders seem particularly temperamental when it comes to different makes of DVD, for example TDK should be avoided like the plague. Also, why bother with RW DVDs if you can only use them twice? Why not start buying large packs (say 100 disks) of DVD+R, most reliable seem to be Verbatim. They are so cheap that you can just throw them away if you don't want to keep what's recorded on them. Also you don't need to format them.

The problem could however be a dirty lazer lens - again, modern recorders seem susceptible to this, and lens cleaner disks don't seem to work very well on them. If the player is still under warranty I'd take it back to where you bought it and ask for a replacement. They might even let you pay a bit extra and buy one with a recordable hard drive (yes, that again!)

If this isn't possible, and you're technically minded you can clean the lens yourself. Here's how:

If a DVD Lens cleaner (with brushes) fails to fix the problem, then it could be that you have grease particles on the lens. Do the following:

Note. If unit is still under warranty, you may nullify this by opening unit up

You will need:
Screwdrivers as necessary
Cotton Bud sticks (also known as Q-tips)
Isoproponal/Isopropyl Alcohol (small bottle comes with some CD/DVD cleaners)
Compressed Air cannister/aerosol

1. After disconnecting unit, leave standing for 15 minutes
2. Unscrew lid and remove
3. Carefully remove DVD lens cover
4. Blast whole area with compressed air to remove dust
5. Dip one end of cotton bud in Isoproponal, and very carefully wipe DVD lens (just one wipe should do.)
6. Now wipe lens with dry end of cotton bud, and leave a few seconds to dry
7. Carefully replace DVD lens cover (watch out for ribbon cables)
8. Replace Lid
9. Reconnect, switch on and test

After I'd tried every other way possible, this method finally worked for me!

Hi there. I thought I would have missed a good show and it looks like I did! Oh Bugger! So STEVIE was on BS2;thats surprising as she always used to be on BS1 mainly.I saw her the other night (naked) on BS2 and have kept that recording!.As for GEORGIE and LOUISE(particularly GEORGIE!);did they do solo slots on BS2 as well or just the 2-4-1s which sounds as if they were very good! Also would I have seen KANDI or KARINA or were they just on BS1/BSXtra/Partyland? Thanks for your info anyway. I'm hoping to record something tonight depending on which girls are on. Thanks for your advice. My machine is out of warranty and on the whole I am very pleased with it.(I'm not a technically minded person;so wont attempt to take it apart!) Its actually a Panasonic dvd/video recorder. I bought it mainly for recording direct onto dvd but also to transfer some old video recordings (of the children when young! etc) onto dvd to preserve them.Its only failed to record anything twice;apart from during power cuts and power surges which cant be helped;thats when I missed GEORGIE twice! I'm pretty sure that the problem is with a faulty batch of DVD+RW discs which I thought i had ditched;BUT I WILL NOW! I may consider using just DVD+R discs in future though;they are obviously much cheaper. (Dont they need formatting?;I thought all dvd discs had to be).I usually use Verbatim which seems a good make and quite reliable;except my faulty batch which the supplier replaced without a problem.! I have a few Maxell ones which seem all right at the moment so I'm using them up on everyday recordings of soaps etc. I wouldnt trust them for Babestation!
