TNA to Officially Abandon Trademark Six-Sided Ring

TNA head writer Vicne Russo has confirmed that the company will be getting rid of their trademark six-sided ring and returning to the traditional four-sided one. There is no word yet on exactly when this change will happen.

Agree this is a big mistake!!! there is so much more you can do with a 6 sided ring and it's what makes TNA unique.

tna will get rid of it cuz hogan cant work 6 sides am going tot na in 2 weeks at glasgow and i see 1 bit of russo booking i never go to tna again

Am i the only one who is glad there getting rid of the six sided ring an going back to the four sided ring that they used to have when it was NWA - TNA. Next to go is the steel Asylum

Hulk Hogan appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge show today and regarding the Steel Cage Asylum match on Monday night, he said that at a production meeting on Sunday, about 10 people said there was a decent door to the cage. Hogan said when he arrived to the soundstage and saw that it had no real door, they went with the DQ finish. There were plans for a big bump off the cage but it wasn't possible. Hogan agreed with Bubba that the Steel Cage Asylum match needs to be done away with for good.


Have to agree with hogan getting rid of the steel Asylum to the asylum match on tna last week was awful. the cage was so crap you couldn't even see the action in the ring.
