^^ The only question you can have about the Texans is that C J Stroud is good but not great, His stats this season are unaspiring just 18 TD's & 8 INT's with a QB rating of 92.6 when 100 is a benchmark figure these days to make the top 10, Stroud is only just inside the top 20.

Whilst surprised how the Texans downed the chargers not sure if that was down to the effort against the chiefs recently
Aside from that pleased for the bears rammy and all there fans having some long overdue success

That's why I'm milking this fantastic Bears season for all it's worth. They haven't had a season like this since at least 2017/2018. So I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride

I was also happy for Baltimore as I've got Derrick Henry in my NFL Fantasy team this week

Yeah, Stroud is a Goff, good but not great. A team like Broncos put on the pressure and Stroud could look foolish out there

Well the Football gods have said Week 18 won't just be about seeding placings

As we shall have 2 winner take all games

Tampa Bay despite losing 7 of 8 will host Carolina with the winner advancing as Division champions (if Tampa wins it will be with a losing record) and hosting a playoff game likely vs one of the NFC West powerhouses though

And Pittsburgh unbelievably blew the chance to wrap up the Division losing to the Browns!!! and will host Baltimore with the winner advancing as Division champs

So we have effectively got 2 playoff games a week early next weekend

On a Dolphins front Quinn Ewers looked a lot more relaxed today and threw 2 TDs and didn't turn it over.

Played well as a whole until the last minute when we almost let them back in allowing a 90 yard drive in 1 min but recovered the onside kick to win by 3.

49ers 42 - 38 Bears
Quite a game, Purdy threw a pick 6 on his first pass of the day but bounced back with a TD pass to Tonges & then scrambles for another from 10 yards out. From that point the teams just exchanged touch downs. The Niner lead 28-21 at halftime & it wasn't until the 4th quarter that the Bears regained the lead after their initial score. The Niners at least held the Bears to a field goal & the got the lead back to 42-38 with a 38 yard Jennings TD catch.
The Bears had just over 2 minutes to reply & marched down to the Red Zone, the were stopped short of the goal line & had one last shot on 4th down as the clock expired.
CMC had his best game of the hear on the ground with 140 yards on 23 carries & a TD.

Despite a narrow loss the Bears will cause any team they meet in the Playoffs problems.

Instant classic Game of the season for me

2 teams just going at it exchanging blows right till the final second

Sign me up for a playoff rematch of that please

Week 18 is looking very tasty now

TB vs Carolina for the division and a playoff spot

Pittsburgh vs Baltimore for the division and a playoff spot

San Fran vs Seattle for the division and the #1 seed, loser drops #5 seed (or #6? not sure if the Rams could jump above one on tiebreakers should they win tonight and next weekend)

Denver vs LAC and NE vs Miami with the #1 AFC spot up for grabs for Denver and NE

Jacksonville vs Tennessee and Houston vs Indianapolis with the AFC South up for grabs for Jags and Texans.

Should be a very fun weekend

Was expecting a 49ers win as the game was in San Francisco. It was though pleasing to see Chicago going toe to toe with one of the top teams in the NFC & coming very close to another comeback win

Wouldn't be surprised if Bears rest players next week as they now have nothing to play for having clinched a home playoff game already
