Now bear with me, this might take a while.
I could bore myself silly at this rate.
I am dealing only with the nightshow comp at the moment.
The daytime one will have to wait till tomorrow.
Here are the leaderboard positions after the nomination round.
Nicole Snow 8 noms making her no 1 seed
Honey Scott 7 noms making her joint no 2 seed
Sophia Lares 7 noms making her joint no 2 seed
Beth Bennett 6 noms making her no 3 seed
Lucy Summers 5 noms making her joint no 4 seed
Sophia Knight 5 noms making her joint no 4 seed
Dionne Daniels 4 noms making her no 5 seed
and
Lynda Leigh, Ella Jolie, Sophie Hart, Lolly Badcock and Lucy Zara all with 3 noms making them all joint no 6 seed.
A reminder of the draw created.
Nicole Snow (1) v Lynda Leigh (6) and Lucy Zara (6)
Beth Bennett (3) v Lucy Summers (4) and Lolly Badcock (6)
Sophia Lares (2) v Dionne Daniels (5) and Ella Jolie (6)
Honey Scott (2) v Sophia Knight (4) and Sophie Hart (6)
What Charle and lovebabes appear to have done is thus.
They have put two of the number 6 seeds up against the number one seed Nicole Snow as this is the closest to seed 1 v seed 8 that is manageable.
Ok now here is where it gets particularly tricky.
There are two number 2 seeds i.e Honey Scott and Sophia Lares.
There is also a number 3 seed i.e Beth Bennett.
There are three remaining number 6 seeds i.e Ella Jolie, Sophie Hart and Lolly Badcock.
The decision appears to have been taken to spread the remaining number 6 seeds evenly between the two second seeds and the third seed so they all face one of the number 6 seeds in the quarter finals.
A further judgement has been made to then make the draw as close as possible to 2v7, 3v6 and 4v5. The way this appears to have been done is thus.
One of the number two seeds i.e Sophia Lares has been drawn against the closest to a theoretical number 7 seed that is not an actual number 6 seed for the purposes of this draw. That means seed 5 which is Dionne Daniels.
The other number two seed i.e Honey Scott cannot be drawn against a number 5 seed as none remain. So the next seed up the line has been designated I.e the number 4 seed.
There are two number 4 seeds remaining.
Honey has been randomly drawn against one of them i.e Sophia Knight.
This leaves the number three seed i.e Beth Bennett.
She has been drawn against the other number 4 seed to oppose a seed number as close to her own as possible. In this case that is Lucy Summers.
There would have been a multitude of other options open to Charle and lovebabes all of which could have been open to debate just as the solution chosen is.
I am not going to go through all the possible options as it would take too long. And this post is plenty long and unintelligible enough thank you

.
Whether any of you like the solution is up to you but it seems to me they have tried to find a way through the quagmire that seems plausible.
I am not going to play judge or jury or declare whether I agree or disagree with what has been done. All I can say is that a solution appears to have been chosen in good faith.
I would hope this can be respected even if it isn't necessarily universally desirable.
