Seahawks 35 - 38 Buccs

After a quiet start with a couple of Buccs field goal in the 1st & 2nd quarter, Rachaad White had a 7 yard TD run late in the half to extend the Buccs lead to 13-0.

The Seahawks got the ball back with a little over 2 minutes Smith-Njigba caught a 7 yard TD pass from Darnold to send the into the break with some momentum. A Charbonnet 5 yard TD run gave the Seahawks the lead early in the 2nd half. After a 1yard White TD run put the Buccs ahead 28-21 the lead had chanced hand 4 times in the 3rd quarter as the 2 teams traded touchdowns.

In the 4th quarter the Seahawks scored 2 unanswered TD's for the 2nd time in the game to lead 35-28 with 3.18 on the clock.
Sterling Shepard caught an 11 yard TD from a scrambling Mayfield pass with 1.08 remaining.

The Seahawk had time to drive down for a game winning field goal, but Darnold was picked off giving the Buccs great field position from where they worked the clock down & kick the winning field goal as time expired.

An impressive display from the top 2 QB's drafted in 2018 who are both now fulfilling their promise. Darnold was 28-34, 341 yards 4 TD'S 1 int, his prmary target was Smith-Njigba with 8 catches for 132 yards & 1 TD.
Mayfield was equally efficient with 29-33, 379 yards & 2 TD's, Emeka Egbuka had 7 catches for 163 yards & 1 TD.

Rachaad White had 42 yards on 14 carries & 2 TD's for the Buccs, Kenneth Walker II had 86 yard on 10 carries.

Very little between the 2 teams, the Bucs had the advantage with time of possession, & as always turnovers are game changing, the one late in the game for the Seahawks proved crucial, they had one other, the Buccs none.

The Patriots are a much improved team. Going to New York and beating one of the best teams in their home stadium.

And I've never seen as many tight games in a session.

Jags 31 - 28 Chiefs
A really entertaining game, Chiefs jumped out to a 14-0 lead, then the Jags reply with 3 TD's to take the lead.
In the 4th quarter the lead changed hands 4 times. The game winning Td was a Lawrence scramble that showed great determination to reach the end zone, stumbling & falling twice.
Both QB's put on a display, Mahomes was 29-41, 318 yds, 1TD , 1 int & 6 carries for 60 yards, 1TD.
Lawrence was 18-25, 221 yds, 1TD, 1 int & 10 carries for 54 yards, 2 TD's
Unusual that both QB's led their teams in rushing yards.
Key play was the 99 yard pick six by Lloyd, to give the Jags the lead for the first time in the game, real momentum changer.[/align]

Eagles @ Giants - Friday - 01.15

The Bengals have pressed the panic button after back-up Browning has struggled & have traded for Flacco from the Browns who are at least trimming their QB roster that was 5 heavy leading into the season.
Without Burrows the Bengals are hopeless the O-Line can't protect sufficiently the have got by leaning heavily on the magic of Burrows.
Browning has thrown some inexcusable interceptions, but Flacco wasn't been much better before the Browns benched him, his QB rating was dead last at that point. They will have their fingers crossed hoping he can find their elite receiving corps that pose a deep threat which should suite his style if he limit his own tendency to make costly interceptions. His veteran experience will count for something.
One small ray of hope is that the AFC North isn't as strong as in previous, with the 3-1 Steelers leading the way only by the failings of the others it remains to be seen if they are good enough to win a Playoff game.

Giants 34 - 17 Eagles
The Eagles had apparently staged a meeting after last weeks loss, despite it being their first of the season, there were clearly concerns over their misfiring offense for one. This is not the same personnel that brushed aside the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. For the second week in a row the Eagles were scoreless in the 4th quarter
After an early Eagles field goal, the Giants replied with a Dart 20 yard TD run & a 35 yard TD catch for Robinson, although the extra point was missed.
Then the Eagles responded with 4 scoring drives to take a17-13 lead, a Scattebo 4 yard TD run just before half time gave the Giants the edge.
Half time adjustments by the Giants had the effect of shutting out the Eagles for the remainder of the game as they scored 2 further TD's to give Scattebo a trio on the ground in which he gained 98 yards on 19 carries. The Eagles contributed to their own downfall with a fumble & an interception.
Wan'Dale Robinson had 6 receptions for 84 yards & a TD. Dart was 17/25, 195 yard, 1 TD & had 13 carries for 58 yards & a TD. On defence Brian Burns had 3 tackles, 4 assists & 2 sacks.
The Eagles failed again to maximize Barkley's talents, he had 31 yards on the first 2 carries of the game, but had 58 yards from 12 carries in total. Tight End Goedert had 9 receptions for 110 yards & a TD, A J Brown had 6-80.
This latest result could shake things up in the NFC East.

^^ Cheers Rammy, it wasn't very clear when I looked, I thought it would be available somewhere.
When you look at todays games on Sky Sports + there's actually another game available through the Sky Sports App function Titans @ Raiders, I thought the 2 should mirror each other, yet the 49ers @ Buccs is available on that as well as on Sky Sports NFL. ( I wont mention the 5 coverage, better than nothing for those without Sky, but poor presenters.

Jets 11 - 13 Broncos
Where is the Jets first win coming from, the franchise is in a mess, from Rodgers to Fields at QB, neither was ever going to be the answer. Minus 10 passing yards, sacked 9 times, ouch.
