Hot off winning yet another Emmy, he talked about the Jimmy Kimmel situation, but leavened it with the tale of a German animation about depressive bread. The sort of contrast which sets this show apart from competitors.

Alien Earth - S1 Ep8 The Real Monsters

A really good episode that left me excited about a hopeful season 2. This series was a bit difficult to get into for me at the start, but ultimately became my favourite TV Series on right now, it grows on you and in the end I was hooked throughout. This episode does set up the prospect of a season 2 and Pearl Jams 'Animal' ringing out in the end credits seemed appropriate and a good choice.

Still lots to build on if they do go forward with this series and I'm fascinated to see what they come up with.

Overall as a whole series I would give this 9/10 - Not quite on Alien or Aliens level but for a TV Series, I'd say they did an outstanding job at expanding and creating a great story with exceptional characters.
