First Colbert, now Kimmel, the connection, both hated by Trump and both on networks looking to take advantage of the looser FCC rules to get merger deals done under Trump.
Just the usual now, in the land of the not so free. Sad times. Free speech has its limits in society, words have consequences, but it can't be one sided.

Spot on Mr Agent. The right & Maga claim to be all about free speech, but it’s only their own free speech. If you say something they don’t like, they go after you with a vengeance

this H1b Visa thing could be a god send for the NHS with US hospitals usally headhunting NHS doctors and Nurses not to mention bringing in overseas doctors and nurses to work here that would have gone to the states

will massivly backfire in the Tech Space to as i can see Microsoft and co moving some operations to india if thats where all the talent is

High skilled migration is a strong accelerator of economic growth and the Trump admin is making the US less friendly to immigrants & University students. The UK is in a good position to take advantage of this given that A: We have the same first language as the US B: We have a University sector that punches above our weight

On top of all that our University sector is in financial crisis and an influx of foreign students, paying more than domestic students, would help the situation.

It's an open goal economically but with the mood of the zeitgeist around immigration right now it comes with risks
