RE: Robert Redford RIP
A Tribute to Robert Redford

Today, we say goodbye to one of cinema’s true lions. Robert Redford wasn’t just a movie star—he was a storyteller, a trailblazer, and a quiet revolutionary. From the charm of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid to the haunting solitude of All Is Lost, Redford gave us characters that lingered long after the credits rolled.
He didn’t just act—he built. The Sundance Institute became a sanctuary for independent voices, a place where art could thrive without compromise. His direction in Ordinary People showed us the power of restraint, of emotion held just beneath the surface.
Redford stood for integrity, for artistry, and for the landscapes he loved. He reminded us that film could be beautiful, bold, and deeply human.
Thank you, Mr. Redford, for the decades of grace, grit, and golden light. Your legacy will echo through every frame of film that dares to dream.
Rest in peace, Sundance Kid.

RE: Robert Redford RIP
I especially liked 'Jeremiah Johnson'.

I wouldn't necessarily call him a great actor, but he was so admirable in the different fields he applied himself to, film-wise and beyond. He leaves a strong legacy. Some of the best hair in film history as well. A pre-eminent heart-throb and a leading presence in many fine films. I like to think of 'The Old Man and the Gun' as his real swansong. It had the spirit of some of his famous roles of the '60s and '70s.

RIP to a legend.
