A Goon Show special, of sorts, as some bloke from the Goon Show Preservation Society shills for new members, and shows three rare reels, largely of Harry Secombe with Michael Bentine.

10.1 A very hot day at Hampton Court, looking more at the gardens than the building, and some nice choices on the shortlist, where the bloke gets the nod over two chicks, though he does at least have a style, albeit not one I could believe will get the big win.

10.2 Llyn Padarn Lake at Llanberis, but with a view of Yr Wyddfa, fka Mt Snowdon. I recall the mountain being a commission choice years back, but I doubt they're short of ideas. At least the winner does a fine rendering of said mountain.

PBS America cut to the chase, boiling almost 250 years into the fun from 1963 and 1974. Worth it to see quite how timely and rapid was the meteoric rise of Gerald Ford.

Fragments of Paradise
Lengthy profile of Lithuanian emigre and alternative film-maker Jonas Mekas, with tributes from other film-makers like Peter Bogdanovich and John Waters, as well as his family. Amusingly, he left his homeland with his brother Adolfas, whose story is not wrapped up (dead? unwilling to appear?).

10.3 To Clifton Suspension Bridge, where the judges end up "surprised" that almost everyone just concentrates on one end, rather than the whole span, much like the last time they did a bridge in a heat. The trad bloke beats the rad ladies in the shortlist round.
