End of another series (or off for an Easter break). Jeremy Bowen comes to John's cubbyhole workspace to discuss peace prospects in Gaza and Ukraine, whilst John separately discusses the Congo situation and finally a bit on Indonesia, which otherwise wouldn't get a mention (and probably won't until the next time he feels like it).

Back for what he actually called his "summer season". Lyse Doucet and Anthony Zurcher were among his guests, and though he did manage to close on Ukraine, he largely skipped Gaza.

8.6 Back to County Down, near Strangford Lough, with a view to Audley's Castle, which supposedly is a big deal for Game of Thrones fans. That counts me out.

8.7 Somewhat in keeping with locations not being typical National Trust places, the semi-final took in the Thames barrier. The wildcard was the teenage dude selected in the opening episode, but he didn't make the final. The wacky Italian surrealist did get through.
