Hamilton and Dunfermline both got pasted, and look increasingly set for that 8th/9th place battle, unless they can overhaul Raith Rovers.

East Stirling 3 Tranent 1 - a great result as they're a top side, and after the recent disappointments suggested the good times might be all over, it seems there might still be reason to cheer.

Dunfermline pasted Raith Rovers, and Hamilton lost to Ayr, who seem to have overhauled Falkirk, and HA drop to 9th.

East Stirling got a big win at Berwick, and are now 9th.

The Aberdeen freefall continues.

Result and performance of the day comes from Heart of Midlothian though. A resounding 0-6 triumph away at Dundee.

Hamilton's cup run ended with a narrow late loss at struggling St Johnstone.
