I've aleays been trained to give a receipt, but when some customers bring back stuff to get money back, I ask if they have a receipt and they say 'no' so they have to waste my time to get a receipt reprinted to do the refund, when they DID ask for a receipt in the first place then walk off without it!!
That's when I put receipts in the bin, and clear bins out at the end of the day. Maybe its about time companies also thought about sending purchase receipts to email as well as customer orders - thus saving on paper waste (& trees) at the same time???

It was 2 bottles of Lucozade, a loaf of bread, and 2l of milk.
I wasn't going to be bringing anything back for a refund

About time that the police, local councils and Noise Abatement Society cracked down on this.

Anyone who modifies their cars should register the modifications to the police and must pass a test for noise levels (max allowed for normal hearing levels) - anything above that, they should be fined £100 and have 30 days to remove ALL modifications at their own cost (no refunds). Anyone who refuses to do so, should be fined a further £1000 per modification item, and their car is crushed to a pulp and banned for 18 months from driving any personal vehicle.

People who go off on half-arsed rants about subjects that they clearly know nothing about.
