They're doing a butterfly effect episode! It's surprising we haven't gotten one so direct before in my knowledge. I've seen every episode of Doctor Who ever besides from most of the missing ones

I said, " It's surprising we haven't gotten one so direct before." We have had the idea of the butterfly effect in Doctor Who plenty of times, but never one so direct as in the entire course of human evolution changed. A very bradbarian way to go about it

				So far
The Good: Ncuti Gatwa could be a great Doctor, a genuinely new take but still the Doctor. Millie Gibson, maybe a bit generic so far, but has already very good chemistry with Ncuti for a pleasing duo. The new Disney budget really does show through at times.

The Bad: The writing. Camp can be good if done well and awful when not. Space Babies was terrible, kind of a bad camp tribute to Ark In Space on a far better budget (which didn't quite work for babies CGI). The Devil's Chord not as bad, but as with the Giggle, the potential of the big bad was rather wasted in the end. And I'm not a fan of this new TARDIS crashing through arrival effect.

The Ugly: A Russell T Davies now seemingly totally off the leash. Responsible for both good and bad but the latter outweighs the former. A show runner who needs to trust the writing to better writers. He's clearly aiming for new audiences with this new Disney deal, and not too bothered with the old, but what he could get away with in 2005 I don't think will work now. New audiences have better written sci-fi especially on streaming platforms nowadays and don't need their intelligence insulted.

Moffat's episode is up next, so I live and hope for continued improvement
