What TV show did you last watch?

Grace - Ep. 2
Taken from the long running series of books by Peter James, episode 1, which covered the first book, Dead simple, was ok. Last nights show was from the 2nd book Looking Good Dead, & worked less well. What is great about the books, other than the plot, is the attention to detail. which doesn't really transfer over in what amounts to an hour & half of tv. There's enough scope for a 3 part series. Little time is spent over the interaction between the main characters, which has evolved throughout the series of books from 2005 & still running today. As much as I rate John Simm, but I would've preferred a stronger character in the role.
Brilliant books, average tv.

I tend to agree with the view that this painting by the 'The Man' (in fact all renowned paintings) should be available to view and be appreciated by everyone, rather than reside - in this instance - in a vault at what is known as 'no mans land' for the purpose of reducing tax due.

Caught up with this (took a while). Another grim account that brings in provenance, fakery and rampant venality. The political ending may have been ironically suitable with the paradox that to show the painting risked devaluing it.
