Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings - 8/10.

A solid Marvel movie, it had a bit of everything, it was well acted, well paced, great effects...so I have no complaints.
It didn't feel like a two plus hour film, which is always a good sign imo.

I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with this, I've enjoyed looking at the different ring theories.

Rocky V Drago ( Rocky 4 directors cut)

Sylvester Stallone's directors cut version of the 1985 film has 40 minutes of new footage but only lasts 4 minutes longer.
The film loses the pointless stuff about Paulies robot and shows more about the relationships Rocky has with Apollo & Adrian.
Thankfully it keeps the originals soundtrack.

Verdict. My favourite Rocky film has got even better.

9.5/10

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings (IMAX)

This film was a breath of fresh air, I was getting a little bored of the a marvel films just feeling a little Samey. Great cinematography in the movie, the action and martial arts were along with the story. There’s the appearance of a character from Iron Man 3 and was actually funnier in this film and they also properly at Iron Man villain from comics that they fucked up in the third movie. The music score in the movie all the reviews I’ve seen don’t give it the credit it deserves. Overall great movie. The mid and post credit scenes are decent too.

Venom Let There Be Carnage:
I enjoyed this a lot more than the first one but at the same time it was a bit of a waste of carnage.

7/10

No Time To Die - 7/10.

I was expecting more tbh, don't get me wrong, it was good, but I think it should have been better.
Some of the writing and directing wasn't as good as other Bond movies...the theme was also a bit shit.

Army of Thieves - Netflix - 2021

Prequel to Army of the Dead featuring the safe cracker from AOTD as he gets recruited to help crack three legendary safes across Europe - I really enjoyed it, good story, decent action and some comedy

Spiderman: No Way Home

The 3rd solo MCU Spiderman film is out today not only is it best of the MCU Spidey films, it's also for me in the top 5 MCU films overall.

It picks up pretty much from where Spiderman: Far From Home ended & has fantastic special affects & fantastic action sequences along with plenty of humour & very emotional moments as well as a couple of moments that had the screening I was in clapping & cheering loudly.

There are 2 post credit scenes. 1 partway through that sets up the next solo MCU Spiderman film & another right after the credits end that involves Dr Strange

10/10
