Joe Salisbury and Andy Murray are safely into the mens doubles quarter finals in tennis.

A bronze in the Ladies Gymnastic team and with a bronze in the team Dressage event.

It's not often you can say you were enjoying watching the women's snatch on bbc1 on a weekday afternoon.
Not to be for Zoe Smith this time.

Great Britain Olympic Champions 2021 List:

1. ADAM PEATY - Swimming (100m breaststroke)

2. TOM DALEY AND MATTY LEE - Diving (Synchronised 10m platform)

3. TOM PIDCOCK - Mountain Biking (Cross country)

4. TOM DEAN - Swimming (200m freestyle)

Three successive 4th places in rowing finals one of which was a supposed gold medal shot .

But then........ out of nowhere a silver medal in the mens quadruple sculls for Team GB.

GB face a bronze medal match against Argentina after defeat to New Zealand in the Rugby 7s semi finals

Gold for GB in mens 4x200m freestyle relay swimming

Murray and Salisbury out of the doubles with a 3 set defeat.
They led 6-4 4-3 with a break but lost the 2nd set on a breaker and the 3rd set on a champions breaker.

Yet another 4th place finish for Team GB.
This time in the mens the Rugby 7s.
Defeated by Argentina in the bronze medal match.

We've done well but I feel that we have blown a few chances of medals or higher medals.

According to the IOC it's one of the most popular sports in the world. In some countries it has a professional league.
