What he's selling is more than likely true but the source is untrustworthy to say the least. If it was a Criminal Trial a decent Defence Brief would rip him to shreds on his credibility alone.

Incendiary from Cummings. I am not clear .......is he protected by parliamentary privilege in terms of the allegations/assertions he put on the record today?? If not, he must be damn sure of the ground he is standing on. In which case, how can this govt survive?? Unless those backbench MPs care more about there own position, and that of BJ, than they do about the numbers of lives he is directly responsible for sacrificing!! The reprehensible dismissive comments such as let the bodies pile up, should see him prosecuted for that alone!!

The general thrust of Cummings' testimony seems to be:

- Democracy doesn't work.
- I'm smarter than you.
- Everything would be better if people would just do what I say.

I'm particularly struck by how baldly he is willing to claim that Johnson is a narcissistic moron who lies repeatedly and is unfit for office.

That was all pretty obvious back when Johnson was a plagiarising journalist, a philandering husband, a sacked MP, and an ineffectual Mayor. Yet Cummings didn't see any problem in getting him elected and re-elected as Prime Minister because -- at the time -- it served his Brexit agenda.

Lions led by donkeys, perhaps, but Cummings was the f***ing shepherd.
