Mind you we haven't heard anything about case numbers in North Korea or what vaccine they've got have we? or if Kim hasn't had the virus (If we are going along the lines of the "Axis of Evil")

PM has asked the nation to join in a clap for Captain Sir Tom Moore at 6pm tonight He should be looking sweeping protocol aside and letting the family give him the funeral he deserves, whether it is a private, public or at state level.

^ You seem to have this thing about giving him a State Funeral. You do realise that the last full State Funeral for a non Royal was Churchill. Do you really think Sir Tom is on a par with Churchill? (Other funerals with some of the trappings of a State Funeral have been held but very few and they are definitively not State Funerals)

I do think that a fitting long lasting memorial should happen - maybe rename a hospital after him or do what they do in Australia and devote a test match to raising money for NHS Charities in his name.

harry patch was offered a full state funeral as the last tommy but said he didnt want that,

in the end they just named a street after him in a village 3 miles away from mine

since the fall of the ussr they have been called FSB nothing really changed still the same people running things and doing the same things, Putin was ex KGB/FSB no real surprise

no as we need everyone in the world to get the vaccine as thats the only way to really beat covid, countries that are less likely to deal with the west maybe more able to get the russian vaccine, the russians may have got it in a doggy way but it could be for the best in the long run
