Fernanda has just commented live on the mic about her last show.

Arising from her conversation with her previous caller she admitted that the final show would be hard emotionally but stressed that it's not December yet.

She carried on that she couldn't confirm the final date and added that she wasn't even sure whether it would be before or after Christmas.

Obviously we've been wondering about the extent of Fernanda's planning, this surely emphasises that she's not sure.

I'm wondering if she has taken an extended break

FINALLLY!! spoke to Fernanda after possibly nearly a year since we last talked and it was lovely to hear her voice and we talked like had only spoken yesterday. She will remain a very close friend of mine as we've bee friends for over seven years and and I've enjoyed every minute of those conversations and i think I surprised her after such a long time!!!

THANK YOU Fernanda for being St66's undisputed Daytime Queen and hope we will remain in contact for long time after you leave our screens. You are truly a channel legend and superstar who is going to be much missed on your last day.

Always have been mate & always will be I think you can agree there is still a lot of love & respect for her on the forum and in Studio chat. She has been a truly amazing presenter, full of warmth & compassion and a sense of humour that has touched us all possibly the length and breadth of the UK and many of us will have amazing memories of chats with her and I feel she deserves a tribute thread of her own.
Like I've always said over the years,, there would be a point that she would leave the shows on her own terms, and that moment not very far away now, and the situation in this world has more than likely hastened her decision to leave by probably at least a year and her monumental contribution just has to be marked by Studio66.

Fernanda announced this evening that she couldn't confirm the date of her next appearance but she was quick to mention ''next week''.
